I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong because my phone can detect the HC-06 module, but the app can't. I'm using windows 10, my computer has Bluetooth, and I gave permissions to Bluetooth in Start->Settings->Privacy. The only problem I can think of is that for some reason the app doesn't have permission to use the Bluetooth. I've tried this Windows Remote Arduino before. And according to the official document, the recommended Bluetooth Module is SparkFun Bluetooth Mate Silver. And I also tried to use HC06 as you did. However, this didn't work.
