Our BizTalk 2013 r2 clustered environment is running fine with no issues. As an addition to add the ESB features I ran the BizTalk 2013 r2 set up and installed the ESB 2.3 toolkit in the first of our two BizTalk 2013 r2 application servers with a clustered SQL backend.
