I have an existing CS 2007 site (based upon starter site) running with all databases and webservices. Now as per business requirement, I need to create a NEW CS 2007 site (on same server but new website/domain) which needs to display just categories and products using the existing CS 2007 site.

I tried to start creating this site from blank c# pup file without using the starter site. I changed the sitename to existing site. But I am unable to create a working development environment for this.

Can anyone point me to right direction or steps about how to approach this ? The first step I need is just to display categories, subcategories. Then products.

if you are not going to use the data warehouse features and the old CS Authentication Module, you need just to create the site on IIS.... and you don't really need to unpup anything.
