I made an application that uses AxWebBrowser for various reasons. With IE7 everything works fine, however with IE8, i noticed problems and going to investigate I discovered that the NeWindow3 event is not fired.

Not sure if you solved this or not but the only way I had fixed this was by replacing the new AxInterop.SHDocVw.dll and Interop.SHDocVw.dll with the ones prior to updating to IE8.  If you have another solution please let me know.
