I need to develop an OS Authentication using Biometric reader.

Concept 1.

I don't want to enter user Password in the Traditional windows logon screen, instead of that a person will authenticate with his fingerprint and Admin's Fingerprint. If both the fingerprint(s) are found correct then only Desktop can be seen.


Concept 2.

One will present Fingerprint first if it is correct then windows will ask for Password, if password is correct then only windows will LogOn.



Windows OS (XP, 7,2008,2008 R2).

Can you please suggest how can I start with this. Is there any SDK that will help me accomplishing this task easily?
