The application I'm building based on the Surface platform requires the table to be in areas where there will be large windows (store fronts) and lots of light. I don't have any choice about this.

I'm looking for suggestions how how to deal with the light problem. What have others done? What kinds of shade structures have folks successfully used? What about UV film? I'm open to any and all suggestions on how to solve the issue, the Surface is an amazing piece of hardware, but the lighting issues severely limit it's usefulness.

If I can't come up with some sort of solution, I'll have to regretfully return the hardware and base my product off of a multitouch technology that's more light resistant (like NextWindow, or perhaps ZaagTech).

To be honest, we sold our surface and bought another product that can work in envirements other than a dark basement!
