We have a TFS 2010 installation running on 2008R2 SP1.  Everything works fine except the Team Web Access.  When anyone tries to access htts://{server}:{port}/tfs/web it immediately gives a 500 error.  The error is served directly from IIS, it doesn't even hit the aps.net layer of tfs site.  If we type in the the page htts://{server}:{port}/tfs/web/default.aspx it returns the following asp.net white/yellow error page:

Does that user account have logon as a service permission ?  This is a snippet from the Install Guide:

You can specify a built-in account or a user account. If you specify a user account, it must have the Log on as a service permission. 
You must not use the account that you use to install Team Foundation Server as the account for TFSSERVICE. For example, if you are logged in as 

domain\user1 when you install Team Foundation Server, do not use domain\user1 as the account for TFSSERVICE.
