While trying to make a "home" page for my project, the Image Viewer control defaults to having a light gray border. How do you remove the border ? Is it in the table cell definition or the control itself ?  Thxs

There is no easy way to remove that border.  In your case, you might just want to use a Custom control and host a SilverLight Image control to show your image.
