I've got some Lync controls embedded in a Silverlight application, and as long as the application is running in IE, the controls work fine.  However, if I install the Silverlight application locally on my machine, the controls don't work - it seems almost like the connection between the controls and the locally running Lync client get lost.  The controls are still there, and I'm not seeing any errors or exceptions raised, they just aren't working properly.  For example, the contact list shows the group/status/relationship tabs, but no actual contacts.  Presence controls just show an empty box, as if the Source was not set properly.  Any ideas what's going on here?  I'm guessing I'm missing something simple - this is the first Silverlight app that I've had to work on.

I can confirm that the Lync controls will not work in out of browser Silverlight applications.  When running in-browser, the web application also has to be in the user's Trusted Sites collection.
