How is the Speech Platform SDK different from the Microsoft.Speech namespace in UCMA?

I've been confused by it as well.

UCMA includes both Speech and a SIP stack, its is their telephony solution (it also has all the OCS integration components). The Speech Platform is simple the reco and TTS engines and can be used to build any speech-enabled application.

What I remain unclear about is if the UCMA uses the Speech Platform components/models.
