On SUR40, OSD screen appears when you press "stop/start" button located on the beveled side of the table.
(Screen that allows to leave Surface mode, choose language, luminosity, video source...etc)

Do you know if there's a mean to launch this screen by code?

(Our SUR40 will be embedded in a furniture and this button will bot be available anymore.)

   from what you can read from the Microsoft Surface 2.0 Administration Guide and Microsoft Surface 2.0 SDK I'm afraid that there is no way to launch that screen from code.
