I'm posting this here since the Microsoft ECE website support staff has indicated that issues with specific KB articles should be addressed with the individual products.  The ECE maintains the files for distribution but doesn't support the content.

I guess the KBs "2607712" and "2616676" are directly not applicable for WES7 and WES7-SP1. These two KBs are related to revoking of trust for few fraudulent digital certificates, and the corresponding KBs applicable to WES7 and WES7-SP1 that revoke the trust of these fraudulent digital certificates are planned to be released shortly.
