How do I get the following commands back to being single click buttons?

• Shape align top
• Shape align middle
• Shape align bottom
• Shape align left
• Shape align centre
• Shape align right
• Rotate shape left
• Rotate shape right
• Flip shape horizontal
• Flip shape vertical

Have them buried in a multi level 'thing that isn't a button nor a menu' is extremely irritating and detrimental to productivity.

(I suspect the answer is use LibreOffice instead)

Hi,

I understand that you seem to want some buttons to be more reachable in Visio, I think we can do this by customizing the Ribbon.

In Visio 2016, go to File -> Options -> Customize Ribbon.

We can create a new Tab, then a new Group. Then pick the buttons/commands you want to the new created Group. Just like in this image below:

After the customization, these commands will be available in the ribbon:
