Dear all,

I need to build a basic interaction with content using the Kinect v2 but I have some question relative to gestures.

For instance deso the gesture are predifiend to manage content or we can easily build our own ?

For exemple, I have notice from samples that to press a button, we need to puch open hand forward. Then to slide left or right a list box we need to close the hand ( grab) and the move left or right.

Doe this is stick in the SDk or can we do a swipe gesture without closing hand to move left or right ?

You can use some WPF/XAML controls inside a KinectRegion with the built-in gestures you have seen in ControlsBasics demo. This gestures are not even general ones, you cannot press an image or grab a button (at least, not without some elaboration).

Kinect v2 SDK supports custom gestures through Visual Gesture Builder. Have a look to the VGB sample and this jumpstart videos to learn how it works:
