Hallo Everyone,

I have an Access 2010 .accdb that I have converted to .accde. All well and good and this works on that installation of Access.

But when I try to run it with Runtime (both 64bit but different PCs) I get this message ...

"The database cannot be opened because the VBA project contained in it cannot be read. The database can be opened only if the VBA project is first deleted. ... etc. "

Including a comment that seems to say that, if the .accde is compiled in Runtime then it will work in Runtime(?)

Can anyone tell me how that works?  Is there maybe a commandline switch (in Runtime) which will carry out the compilation (i.e. convert .accdb to .accde)?

Any tips would be a great help because this problem is a complete show-stopper for us and we never in our wildest dreams (nightmares) believed that there would be this type of incompatibility.

Just to confirm, did you say the full version of Access is 64-bit and the Runtime version is also 64-bit?
