Hello,

I'm looking for a way to keep the contact list in the client even when the server is down. That means some kind of cache or maybe provide the client the list by storing the last known contact list.

The motivation is that I have an external application that I would like to integrate with the communicator (such as launch it from the communicator by right clicking). This app can still do something meaningful with the SIP uri even if the communicator server is down. I would prefer users would be able to continue launch it from the communicator rather than telling them to use the external app when the server is down.

Is there any idea how this can be achieved?

OC does not cache the contacts locally on the client. It caches the group names for UI purposes but not the contacts.
