Hello,

 

I currently have Team Foundation Server 2008 along with the web access feature that I downloaded and installed from Microsoft's site. Web Access is really nice and very helpful.

 

However, when a work item is changed, an email is sent to the user, the email does contain a link but that link doesnt take them to the web access nor to Visual Studio. So technically the user has the ablity only to view the work item which in the users case, the link is not at all helpful.

 

I am trying to see if its possible that once the user clicks on the link it takes him/her directly to the web access site.

 

I currently use a customized domain name for the site, along with SSL turned on. HTTP is turned off and the only way the user can get to the site is thru HTTPS

 

I did try to follow the below blog, but didnt get much of a help. I think coz the link below was for TFS 2005.

My company recently started to use TFS 2008 as well but I used to Vertigo's email notification webservice which works really fine. Check this out and I hope that it solve it
