I am noticing that when backlog items are moved in an iteration (i.e. sprint) that it is completely messing up my main backlog.  For example, if I have 10 items in the current sprint and those 10 items are the first 10 items on my main product backlog, when I go into the current sprint backlog, change the priority and then go back to the main backlog I no longer have all 10 items at the top of the list.  Meaning it is not just changing priority within the list of 10 items in the sprint.  So item 15 might now me item 6.  Any ideas?

TFS system will adjust the backlog automatically when you changed the workitem priority, it’s based on your workload and capacity settings. The top priority ones will be displayed under the backlog, and others will be delayed.
