Hi All,

We need to achieve word to pdf conversion functionality for Sharepoint 2016.

Once the item/docx will be added in list/library it should be converted in pdf.

Constraint:

can't use server side event receiver code.

We were using PHA-App event receiver but it requires 2 things-Office installed on PHA server and App Pool configured with local system account not with service account.[These both are not allowed by client]

What can be the alternative solution to achieve this anything specific to online office services? or 3rd party API?

Please help .Suggest any good pointers.

As you’re restricted for server side solution, you could check the OOTB function to convert doc to pdf files.

As office web app has been migrated to Office Online, so you need configure Office Online Server for SharePoint Server 2016.
