I need to set up a user in Catalog Manager that

1. Cannot edit any Catalog properties / fields
2. Can enter inventory / Stock values

Catalog Viewer
Inventory Admin

But it doesnt work

Any ideas on what Roles/ tasks/Operations i have to set to do this

Hopefully following tasks solve your problem.
ManageAllInventory
ManageAllCatalogs

Create a new role in catalog authorization store - (my user role) and add these tasks to this role.
