i have been assigned a project to build a win8 mobile app for an online magazine. I have worked with asp.net and c# in the past and c and c++ but not visual c++.

There is no log in just open the app see the recent articles on the home page or select a category from a menu shown at the top.

could anyone please guide me onto what all tools shall i need and what languages will i be needing to learn.
