In the sense of form design I believe there is an approach that you should use

I personally don't like the "Save" button either. It should be saved as user types or selects something. If you go with this approach, then all you need is a "cancel" button that will not save or clear everything that user has typed. "Close" can make sense you disable the toobox on the form.
