Had this posted on another TechNet forum...
Has anyone experienced Outlook 2007 not rendering web pages the same way as IE7 and IE8? I have been trying to find a piece of the HTML structure that is causing a nested table to expand and show a white background (false border) within the body of a newsletter-type email. The page display fine until I choose "Send Web Page by Email" and view the email prior to sending. Also, when I use the mailer program (which packages the HTML email and sends it out), the email displays fine in all web clients (Windows Live, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, OWA, etc) but not in Outlook (2007).
Any suggestions?

Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 uses the HTML parsing and rendering engine from Microsoft Office Word 2007 to display HTML message bodies. The same HTML and cascading style sheets (CSS) support available in Word 2007 is available in Outlook 2007.
Refer this article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa338201.aspx and make sure you don't (nor your program) creates HTML newsletter with unsupported HTML elements listed in this article.
In a better way - you can call as "Best Practice", you can download the tool http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=0B764C08-0F86-431E-8BD5-EF0E9CE26A3A&displaylang=en and verify the newsletter will correctly render in Outlook 2007 or not - also this verify whether we use the valid HTML elements with out newsletter or not.
