I have a problem with the CS 2002. When people pay, the SaveAsOrder method crash and return this error:

error '80004005'

Could not connect to datasource

I have a firewall in the middle of the Data base and the application layer. In the firewall I see that it is requesting a different port each time for pays, but I have to limit the number of ports opens. ¿How can I say the CS that use only a port or a range?

I have not tried this with commerce server, but if you really have to indicate just a single port, then you could modify the connection string to use TCP/IP and indicate the port as:

 

Data Source=190.190.200.100,1433;Network Library=DBMSSOCN;
