Playing around with a 1080p H.264 video in the Video app by looping the video and scrubbing the time slider around eventually causes some display issues. The video shows some decoding errors and after exiting the app my Start menu background and tiles show corrupted tiles. 

A fresh restart fixes the display issues.

We are wanting to use the MediaElement in a video app and it was given us very similar behaviour when loaded into a simple application that plays clips full screen. The corrupted areas also show up on the desktop as well as the Start screen.

Is this a driver issue? A bug in MediaElement? Is it a known issue?

I have a screen shot but I am unable to include it just now. I will once my account is verified.
