I am not a computer programmer. I just started using Visual basic 2015 and I'm using a book to get me started. I am a CMM (Coordinate measuring machine) programmer. I use the software to program inspection machines to automatically measure parts in our manufacturing facility. The inspection software I use can use scripts to do some automation things like tasks or calculations.
