I am seeking an answer in updating my windows Samsung Focus SGH-i917.  I installed the zune player on my desktop for the first intial setup.  Since then my desktop crashed and i purchased a new i5 toshiba satellite laptop.  Now windows came out with the new software for an awesomely huge makeover.  And i cant update from my laptop.  I installed the zune software. and it knows of my phone but it won't recognize it.  I plug it in and there is no error code.  It says theres a connection error.  It prompts me to disconnect the phone , restart it, and then plug it back in... Ive done this numerous times.  Ive done the step by step trouble shoot a few times and still no help.  Ive looked in the drivers and my "portable device" says its working properly.  I am having sooo much trouble.  I see that the driver software that i have on the computer differs from the driver version they ask of .  But there seems to be no way in changing that since i am also prompted that my version of zune is the most ud to date version.  Please does anyone have a solution? I want to make my laptop the main computer for my phone.  I want to install the new 7.5 windows phone software.. but somehow there is a connection error.  Not reading the info from my phone?
