Hi Mikhail,

I am not really sure if the roles you specify while creating an environment are of much significance. The only significance I have encountered is when creating test settings. In the test settings, need to specify the role which will be used to run tests.

You can have one machine which could be used as web server as well as database server and you can assing it any role. When you are using the lab default template, in the delopy section, you can coose to this machine to run the the web server and databse deployment scripts.
