I have x86 Processor based machine having Windows 8 Installed on it.

And I want to install WP SDK 8.0 on this machine to start development of new WP App. As WP SDK 8.0 does not support x86 machines, I can not install WP SDK 8.0 on this machine.

And at the same time I can not install WP SDK 7.1 as it does not support Windows 8.

如果你有64位Windows 8但没有启用SLAT的CPU，那么你又不能安装WP8.0仿真器但是将安装WP7.1仿真器。你也可以开发Windows Phone 8应用程序，但不能调试或测试它，除非你有WP8设备。

if you had 64 bit Windows 8 but not SLAT-enabled CPU , then again you couldnt have installed WP8.0 Emulators but WP7.1 Emulator would be installed.You could also develop Windows Phone 8 Apps but not debug or test it unless you have a WP8 Device.

所以我建议，如果你不拥有SLAT特色CPU，如英特尔的iSeries CPU，安装Windows 8 64位，这样你至少可以开发WP7应用程序o在Windows Phone 8中工作。

So i would suggest,if you dont own a SLAT-Featured CPU like Intel's iSeries CPUs,install Windows 8 64 bit so that you can at least develop WP7 apps which will also work in Windows Phone 8.
