We provide EWF APIs to control EWF from a Win32 application. Please find MSDN documentation for EWF APIs here. You could write a agent application that resides on the target machine which can -
(1) Control EWF on that machine
(2) Communicate with the remote server that wishes to control EWF on that machine.
