Hi All,

I am uninstalling a software using Ansible from a windows machine.

During un-installation internally we unregister/stop services.
We are getting error in this. "Failed Error Code: 1816".

The command we are using to stop/unregister:
- net stop ServiceName /Yes

I searched and this error code is pointing to "Not Enough Space to Process".

I have checked that we have allocated around 40 GB for offline/temporary files in this system.

Any pointers to resolve this would be really helpful.

You can try to set up virtual memory of windows, follow the steps below:

1. Right-click on My PC and select Properties on the context menu that appears.

If yours is win10, Open File Explorer then right-click on This PC and select Properties.

2. Make note of the installed memory (RAM)

3. Click on the Advanced system settings link
4. Click on the Advanced tab of the System Properties dialog box

5. Click on the Settings ... button in the Performance section
6. Click on the Advanced tab of the Performance Options dialog box

7. Click on the Change ... button inside of the Virtual memory section
8. Deselect the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box

9. Select Custom size and enter the initial size and maximum size using the calculation shown above
10. Click on the Set button

And you can also use the microsoft tool -- RAMMAP, To check that how Windows is assigning physical memory, how much file data is cached in RAM, or how much RAM is used by the kernel and device drivers. Then try to "Empty Standby List" to Clean up spare memory.

The spare memory means that memory does not release the content previously loaded. This will speed up the opening of many programs and enhance the user's sense of use.
