I'm using Sandcastle May 2008 release. While specifying dependent dlls to MRefBuilder, is there a way to give a single directory A and ask MRefBuilder to include all the dlls in all the subdirectories under A?

AFAIK this is not possible and it's a tedious effort to include all the directories if we have a lot of dependent dlls.

Also, NDoc had this option. In commandline it was like

Release/bin        - to include dlls in bin only
Release/bin/**   - to include dlls in bin and all subfolders of bin

Any suggestion would be of great help.

MRefBuilder won't recurse into subdirectories.  Have you looked at the community tools such as the Sandcastle Help File Builder or DocProject?  They can simplify this sort of thing.  For example, SHFB will allow you to specify the solution or project file as the documentation source and it will figure out all of the necessary assemblies, XML comments files, and reference assemblies.
