We rely heavily on TFS for source control, automated builds, CI, work-items, etc..  We have hundreds of thousands of lines of C# and SQL code in our TFS repo.  We are starting to do work in Python and the Python Tools for VS 2017 are great. 

A GIT repo is of no benefit to us, we want to keep our python checked into TFS TFVC.  How do we do this?

PyCharm and VS Code are free and have plugins to support TFVC, so I can't imagine that VS Enterprise does not have any interop.

There is a python tools for visual studio. You could install python following this link:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/python/installation

Then you could check python files into TFVC using Team Explore.
