We are in process of installing our application and make it work in Windows Server 2016 (currently it is compatible with Windows Server 2012 R2) .

As in Windows Server 2016, the following Application server features are removed:

1. COM+ Network Access

2. Distributed Transactions

  2.1. WS-Atomic Transactions

  2.2. Incoming Network Transactions

  2.3. Outgoing Network Transactions

Any alternate Windows Features which gives the same functionality for above features:

Request to provide any workaround to enable these features.

To resolve this problem and enable COM+ remote access, follow these steps:

1. Enable COM+ Network Access in Windows Firewall. To do this, open Control Panel, click the Windows Firewall item, and then click Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall.
2. In the Allowed apps and features list, select the COM+ Network Access check box, and then select the appropriate scope that’s required for your application.
3. Set the registry value that allows COM+ remote access.
