I am having weird issues with encoding a .MOV file to MP4 on IIS6 / W2k3 server.

After a MOV file is uploaded, I have a console app that gets fired off that tries to convert this to an MP4. Task manager shows  the process fire up under the Network Service account. I can see the CPU and Mem usage climb. But for only about 20 seconds. Then the process just "sits" there with 00 cpu usuage and 24MB of memory usage.

但是，当我在我的凭据（管理员）下手动启动控制台应用程序时，它可以工作。我尝试更改应用程序池到我的帐户并遇到相同的问题。

BUT, when i kick the console app manually under my credentials (admin) it works. I tried changing the app pool to my account and experience the same issues.

Another weird thing is WMV files work perfect. No problems at all converting them to MP4.

I've seen the posts that mention to set the "load user profile" setting  == true in the App Pool Advanced settings tab. But this is IIS 6. I don't have that option. And read that IIS 6 can not load profiles.

Is this console app a custom encoder built off the sdk? If it is, my first suggestion would be to import the file into Encoder and try to reproduce this or see what behvior it has. I would also suggest turning off all non-microsoft and non-apple codecs. This is in Tools->Options->Compatablilty
