When you are downloading files from IE after the file download completes, you get a message like 'Running Security ...'.

What does IE do in this check? Because I have disabled smartscreen filters (requests to SmartScreen servers of Microsoft). The system is a new virtual box and it does not have any antivirus/anti-malware.

You might ask me why I never tried? Because I totally disabled it and don't want it back. I remember the time when I had to use it even only occasionally, due to some stupid corporate Web settings, as a nightmare.
