In my asp .net project i need to make my audio play fast(using playbackrate).I can do that in Chrome browser using html5 playbackrate, but in firefox its not working.Is there any alternate method for working it in firefox.

This was a bug in firefox, as of 29-5-12

but now it is resolved.
Be sure to test against the latest version. I cannot reproduce your issue in Firefox version 21 under Windows 7 sp1 32 bit.
