The difference is that I am attempting to use a USB webcam. The curious thing is that I can create the metadata for my webcam (Logitech QuickCam Fusion) and I am pretty sure that part works, because when I plug the webcam in, the values I selected for Model Name and Manufacturer show under Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers. However, my app will simply not load on the settings experience.
