I have noticed that when deploying environments (or single machines from SCVMM), the "Install VM Components" step always runs. The machine or environment stored in my library already has those components installed, but still, SCVMM tries to install them again, cause all the process to take long time.

Anyone knows how to speed up this process?

I'm using Test Professional 2010 for this, so I can not use deployment scripts...

I've found that when connecting to the machine using the Hyper-V administrative console, during the "Install VM Component" and logging in to the machine (I'm deploying a Server 2003 machine), the process ends very quickly. It appears that this step waits for login...

Do I need to specify the "auto-login" in the Lab/Test agent installed on the virtual machine?

In Visual Studio 2010 release, there is no way to avoid the Install VM Components step while deploying environments. However, if the components are already installed , this step should not be too long.
