If you're referring to putting the credit card on the Surface device itself and payment occurring, then what you see is probably faked or preconfigured. The only way for the Surface to uniquely recognize a credit card or any other physical object is by having an optical tag. (You could also recognize the shape of an item but that won't help you in this case.)
