When I add a comment that is more than 1000 Characters to a Test Result this comment will be cut off. The textbox will allow me to write more than 1000 characters but the notes sections where this comments will be displayed will cut it off to 1000 characters. 

How can i get around this limitation?

Thank you for posting here.

According to the test in my machine, I got the same result as you. MTM will cut if off to 1000 characters if there are more than 1000 characters in the test result comment. We could not remove the limitation by ourselves now. I submit a feedback about this issue in the following link, you could vote and comment on it:
