I can not start Kinect for Windows because of a Graphics Processor problem. I am running an Dell laptop, windows 8.1, intel I5 with switchable graphics. My on-board graphics is not DirectX 11, but I do have another graphics card AMD that is DirectX 11. I can not get the Kinect for Windows SDK to use the correct graphics card to start. Please help.

be sure you boot the system when you are always plugged into power and not battery. Additionally, some OEM manufacturers provide a way of turning this Intel GPU off when plugged in. The alternative is to check the GPU control panels to see if there is a way to force Kinyctservice.exe to always run on the AMD.

There isn't an option within the SDK to switch GPU's. It has been requested and the team is aware of the request.
