Hello guys,

   I am using report viewer to display information coming from the GPS device. When the ingnition is 0, the vehicle is stopped and I have to create a line next to this record displaying the trip time and distance. After that ignition is 1 and it starts the new journey and then ends to display the trip time and distance.

is it possible through the grouping??

I don't know what grouping is or how to use it but I know what I would do - KISS (keep it simple stupid) since I'm not the brightest bulb in the chandelier! 

I would create a datable for all those rows  (with columns for PID   Date        Location    Igniotion)  and then even each of the one-liners can be added as another row to the datatable - true the one-liners won't really have "columns" (just fit this data into the original columns as best you can) but the output should be very readable.

In sum, just keep adding all the rows to the datatable - but I'm surprised you would use ReportViewer since it is more designed for printing than for onscreen displays.
