when i put a cd in my cd writer nothings happening. its not reading any dick at all. can you help me fix my problem.

Open your casing.....reconnect data and power cable ferom the both end....I mean CD drive end and  motherboard end. Switch on your pc, check that is the light of CD drive is blinking? or is there any sound noise from CD drive? If so...that mean your hardware is ok....you may need to check from BIOS set up also that the CD drive is enabled or disabled? if still the problem is not resolved then contact with any good hardware technician...
