If you're using itineraries to direct the response, you'll need to use a 2-way orchestration, which uses a 2-way Receive Port, some form of correlation either through Orchestration, custom Pipelines, or the Itinerary Cache, to send the response back, and then model the orchestration to send responses, and error responses back to the original caller.
