Hi, What exactly does this error mean? Is it not possible to update ad group names/dates/bids once an ad group has been uploaded to MSN? Are there fields that can be updated? If so what are they? Seems a bit limiting if we cannot change names of ad groups after uploading. Any help apprecaited as I cannot find anything on the internet about this error. Cheers, Andrew

In general some ad group fields can be updated after upload.  To see a full list of the elements for the AdGroup data object that can be updated please visit this MSDN adCenter API reference link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/bb671956(v=MSADS.70).aspx.  In the right columns for each element it will specify if it can be changed on an update request. 

For those ad groups that are uploaded into the system as a 'draft' status and then the SubmitAdGroupForApproval service operation is called they are submitted for editorial review.  Similarly this is the same as uploading an ad group and setting the status to 'active' at the time of upload.  For more information on this service operation see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/bb671674(v=MSADS.70).aspx.
