I would like to know if it is possible to set a field property to ready only using the api, I want to set it read only if a drop down is chosen this would effect child work items hence the need to for API calls.

Field 'blah' was set to true, field 'smeg' is set to read only on child work items. I know how to do the work items and chaild items but not how to change the property to "Read-Only"

for whatever reason the TFS forums didn't show up as a choice for me to post in (though I have previously) . Mod - please move to TFS forums.
