I have seen an example of image comparison in Gautam Goenka's blog. Since the "Test API" can be used only for .Net and native application, i would like to know is there a way to get the images in browser as part of 'img' tag and background images of any tag that has been set as part of the css background image attribute.

I tried to achive this using mshtml "HtmlImgTag" class. But Im not getting any clue on how to get the image data from it and save to local disk.

Can any one point me a direction to achive this?
