I've been testing a program for digital artist for about 2 years now. Despite all the alpha and beta releases, and then the official ones, one thing it has been consistent over these two years: the team can't still figure out what the best PC specs are in order to run the software at its best. On top of that, no matter what PC I test the program on (and I have access to pretty fast machines considered I work in the VFX industry), this program always struggle: the fans spin like crazy, CPU usage reaches its peak, then the program starts to slow down, up to the point that sometimes I better close the document I'm working on, quit the program and start fresh.
