U have to Delete that page and create again.

Designer classes get created automatically by a tool like Visual Studio.

So we shouldn''t create them manually. If in any case, acidentally if the designer class modified or deleted, then we need to delete the corresponding page (backup should be taken) and again create from Scratch...

You might be creating a ASP.net website instead of creating a ASP.net Project.

While creating a new web application don''t choose the Website, instead choose Project in that choose asp.net web application.
